i decided to do separate posts for yesterday because for one they are all rather random and two because theres this one lady that deserves to be recognized by herself.
although getting up hay with the farmer man was good and all, there was a downside of the day. i had to go to a viewing. experiencing the death of someone you have grown up knowing sometimes seems unreal. you might have known that it was coming but that doesn't make it easier to cope with, and this was definitely the case for yesterday. nanny is what we all called her for as long as i remember and she was one of the funniest, most loving people i have ever met. she came to all of our softball games from the time we could hold a bat to the last game in raleigh our senior year. she bribed us with money to get us to hit a home run and believed in us, even if we didn't ourselves. she had a way of de-stressing most every situation and she meant the world to everyone around her. needless to say she was without a doubt beautiful. i love you nanny from the bottom of my heart. you will be greatly missed!
